Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah presented new literature of resistance: Ayatollah Ramazani

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah presented a new literature of resistance that became a school, and we need to revive it.”

ABWA Official Website – In a meeting with the members of the Bangladesh Shiite Ulama Council, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly spoke about the need to prioritize women in cultural work. “Half of the society’s population comprises women, and they have a significant capacity in cultural affairs and values. Establishing the Bangladesh Shiite Ulama Council and the forward movement of the council is a great opportunity. Wherever a power emerges, the enemy tries to create discord. Therefore, the enemy infiltration must be prevented. Disagreement everywhere gives the enemy a chance to strike. By togetherness and unity, no power can stand against you.”

“Before a trip, I visited the late Grand Ayatollah Behjat and asked him to advise me,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued, “Grand Ayatollah Behjat told me: ‘I entrust you to God, and I entrust God to you.’ Explaining the second part of his advice, he said: ‘You, scholars, are who keep the remembrance of God alive in people’s hearts.’ One of the most important missions of liberalism is to remove the name of God and spirituality from the people’s hearts. God entrusted his most important trust, that is his religion (Islam), and the divine book (the Holy Quran), to scholars.”

“I advise you Bangladeshi Shiite scholars to try to connect with the youth. Do not limit your work to lectures, but in addition, hold question and answer sessions for them. Organize regular camps, including tourist, educational, and pilgrimage camps, for the youth. Such camps have many effects on young people. Adopt this policy for women as well. Islam is a comprehensive religion, and it should be avoided to present only one aspect of it. Now we are witnessing some intellectuals talking about merciful and compassionate Islam and insisting that the Quranic verses about jihad and resistance should be abandoned! While there is no absolute peace, and the Quranic phrases “أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ” (are firm of heart against the unbelievers,) and “رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ” (compassionate among themselves) (Quran, 48: 29) have come together,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The best time to disseminate AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings

Referring to the position of resistance in Islam, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Liberal Islam claims to seek absolute peace! While in Islam, there is a just peace based on justice. Islam has come for mercy. But the tyrants, the irreligious rich, and the hypocrites must be resisted. If the Islamic countries were united, the greatest economic, political, and social power in the world would be created. Islamic countries have a lot of wealth, and these capacities should serve the honor and exaltation of Islam and Muslims.”

“Today is the best time to disseminate the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings,” the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “At no time in history has there been an opportunity to disseminate the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings like today. Islam should be introduced comprehensively. Islam came for mercy, and even the resistance concept in Islam is for spreading mercy. Martyrs like Sayed Hassan Nasrallah are the pride of Mujahidin in the world today. Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah presented a new literature of resistance that became a school, and we need to revive and continue it.”

“Today’s generation should be taught to think, and they should be brought up as thinkers. According to hadiths, worship is thinking in the divine act. Or it has been said, “One hour of thinking is more valuable than 70 years of worship”,” he noted.

Shiites of Bangladesh have an active presence in social arenas

At the beginning of this meeting, while praising the actions of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Ibrahim Khalil Rizvi, the head of the Bangladesh Shiite Ulama Council, said, “One of the great Shiite institutions is the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, which has made many efforts. This organization is very interested in Shiite affairs, and I have been a member of the Assembly since its establishment. About 400 Shiite books have been translated in Bangladesh, including the “Sahifah Sajjadiyah”, and the “A 250 Years Old Person”. We have prepared a collection of books in Bangladesh for those who want to get acquainted with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.”

“In the Bangladesh Shiite Ulama Council, we have started some actions. For example, we held educational courses for missionaries in the country. In the educational commission, we have prepared an educational program for adolescents and young people. Because Bangladeshi schools are secular. We are looking to improve the Shiite society of Bangladesh in terms of quality,” he continued.

“This council is about to be officially registered in the country. We have an active presence in the social arena of Bangladesh. When the issue of Palestine came up, we collected aid for the Palestinian people. Also, in the Bangladesh flood disaster, we were on the front lines of helping the flood victims, and the participation of a Shiite organization in helping the country’s flood victims was reflected in the Bangladeshi media,” said the head of Bangladesh Shite Ulama Council in the end.
