The book “Paradoxes of Wahhabism” in English published in India by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

ABWA Official Website - The book “Answering the Doubted Raised by Wahhabism” by the late Ayatollah Taheri Khorram Abadi, was published in English in India under the title “Paradoxes of Wahhabism” by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The book sheds light on the truths of the teachings and principles of Islam, as well as the deviations in the thoughts and beliefs of Wahhabism.

Using the verses of the Quran, hadiths from the Infallibles (a.s.) and the views of Shiite and Sunni dignitaries, the author scrutinized the issues that have been disputed between Shia and Wahhabism, based upon which the Wahhabis raised poisoned suspicions and doubts as well as false ideas against Shia.

At the beginning of the book, a brief biography of Ibn Taymiyyah and Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab is presented, and then these topics have been studied: the truth of Tawhid (monotheism) and the type of Tawhid and Shirk (polytheism), pilgrimage of the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and journey to perform it, pilgrimage of the graves of the believers by the women, constructing tombs and building mosques on them, praying for the needs and wishes (from the demised believers), intercession, holding celebrations and mourning ceremonies, seeking for blessing from the saints of Islam, and (rejecting) the distortion of the Quran.

The book “Paradoxes of Wahhabism” by the late Ayatollah Taheri Khorram Abadi (r.a.), translated by Mrs. Zeinab Mohammadi Araqi in English in one volume and 453 pages commissioned by the Translation Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the Publication House of the Assembly in collaboration with Velayat Publications has published 1000 copies of the book in India. /345/
