Int’l Conference Hazrat Abu Talib, important service to Iran, Islamic world: Moghtadai

A member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, Ayatollah Morteza Moghtadai, received Members of the Academic and Executive Committee of the International Conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)”.


Appreciating the efforts made by the secretariat of the conference, Ayatollah Moghtadai, said, “This conference, as a truly excellent and valuable work, will certainly make the heart of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Hazrat Imam Mahdi (a.s.) happy, and it is one of necessary and essential actions.”

 

According to Hawza News, while praising the organizers of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Moghtadai stated, “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) supported the Prophet Muhammad when he needed support and had no supporter. It is one of the important services to the country, the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic world. May God reward you and all those who participate in this deed.”

 


In the meeting, Ayatollah Moghtadai received Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Conference “Ayatollah Muhammad Hadi Yousefi Gharavi”, Director General of Research Department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly “Sayed Muhammad Reza Al-Ayub”, the Head of the Department for Answering Doubts of the Assembly “Hujat al-Islam Abbas Jafari Farahani”, and “Mohammad Haeri Shirazi”, one of the executive officials of the conference.


At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Conference “Ayatollah Muhammad Hadi Yousefi Gharavi”, briefed Ayatollah Moghtadai on the performance of the conference secretariat in the Academic Section and said, “The conference was proposed in 2018 and was scheduled to be held in February 2020. However, due to the spread of coronavirus, its holding was postponed. Therefore, the conference secretariat has decided to hold the conference online on March 9, 10 and 11, 2021.”

 

While presenting a report on the articles and evaluating them, Ayatollah Yousefi Gharavi said, “With the help of the conference secretariat, appropriate measures have been taken to call for papers and in order to further strengthen the academic contents, steps have been taken to quickly prepare and finalize academic articles on the remaining important topics.”

 



Following the meeting, Hojat al-Islam Muhammad Haeri Shirazi, one of the executive officials of the conference, briefed on the measures taken and said, “To strengthen the academic dimension of the conference, we plan to hold a series of specialized meetings focusing on the various aspects of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), with the presence of well-known domestic and international figures in this academic field.”


“There are also specialized interviews about Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) that have been recorded according to the standards of the Radio and Television and will be broadcast on national media during the demise anniversary of this figure. These interviews are conducted with Iranian and international professors and scholars, Shiites and Sunnis”, Haeri Shirazi added.


Explaining about the other parts of the conference in artistic and literary dimensions, Haeri Shirazi stated, “The secretariat of the conference intends to hold a session for domestic and international poetry in 4 languages: English, Arabic, Urdu and Persian.”


“Also, through our correspondence with the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, we want 26th Rajab, the day of the death of Hazrat Abu Talib (AS), to be declared as the “National Day of Support and Custody of the Orphans”. Other activities that we follow are the production of clips, posters, photo-text, etc. for publication online and in social networks”, Haeri concluded.


It should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, “Imam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine”, “Hazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute”, “The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought”, “Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office”, “Al-Mustafa International University”, “Hawza Language teaching center”, “International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)”, “Mirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute”, “Jamiat al-Zahra Seminary University”, “Zorria al-Nabawia Research Center”, “Qasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute”, and “Abna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute”; international conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” will be held.


The deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.
