The Arbaeen Walk ceremony for Imam Hussain (a.s.) was held with the presence of the enthusiasts of the Imam and his loyal companions to Imamzadeh Yahya (a.s.) in Sar-e Pol province of Afghanistan.
Hojat al-Islam Akbari stated, “We are expecting the Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan to provide us with the rightful and legitimate demands of the Afghan Shiite society – which constitutes more than 20% of the country’s population.”
Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The nation of Afghanistan should be proud to have Ayatollah Asif Mohseni. He was both an alem and a mujahid.”
The president of Khatam al-Nabiyin (p.b.u.h) University stated, “Ayatollah Asif Mohseni was the flag bearer of the proximity discourse and had scientific and practical innovation in this regard.”
An Afghan researcher stated, “Ayatollah Asif Mohseni was a modernist and insightful faqih who attended the Islamic Conference as a scholar and mujahid in the early period of Jihad in Afghanistan.”
In a statement, while condemning the crime against the mourners for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Afghanistan and Nigeria, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly express condolences on the martyrdom of these mourners.
