In a message, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of Mrs. Hajieh Lajevardi, the wife of the late Grand Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Fazel Lankarani.

The message of condolence addressed to Ayatollah Mohammad Javad Fazel Lankarani, the head of the Global Center for Jurisprudence of Pure Imams (a.s.), is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Javad Fazel Lankarani

Salam (peace) be upon you for your patience

The demise of Alawite Lady and your honorable mother, Mrs. Hajieh Lajevardi, the wife of our great teacher, the late Grand Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Fazel Lankarani (r.a.), caused grief and sorrow.

The blessed deceased spent his life with that great Marja in the service of Islam and the Revolution and raised worthy children.

In these days, which belong to Sadat’s mother (coincide with martyrdom of Lady Fatimah), I pray to God for mercy and companionship with Lady Fatima Zahra (a.s.), and the highest degrees for your parents.

I pray for your patience and for all the family of the late Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
