Calamities, trials for growth, progress, excellence of believers: Ayatollah Ramazani

Pointing out that the affliction of the believers is a test for their growth, development, and excellence, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Man can pass the divine tests successfully, only if his heart is full of divine piety.”

In the 24th episode of the special internet program “Facing the Sky”, which is broadcast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, referring to the divine trials during human life, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “Man can pass the divine tests successfully, only if his heart is full of divine piety.”


“God tests human beings to attain spiritual growth and excellence,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that if a person wants to grow, he must be involved in divine tests.


“If a man has a faithful view of life, then calamity, affliction, and divine trials are also part of the formation of the divine system,” he stated Noting that there have been hardships, calamities, losses, and problems in all past generations.


“According to the Holy Quran, fear and hunger, financial and human losses, and loss in trade and pests in agriculture are all kinds of divine tests,” added Ayatollah Ramezani, emphasizing that a lot of wisdom has been included in the legislative system for divine tests.


“God has said that human beings are tested for good and evil, and for wealth and children,” pointed out the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, stating that man must be patient and resist in the face of the divine test.


“What is in the hearts of men must be tested by divine tests, and the souls of men must also be purified,” he said, considering the purpose of the divine tests purifying the hearts of human beings.
