The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Gratitude for the blessings of the Islamic Revolution means supporting Islam, the people and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, and dissociation from clerics means dissociation from revolutionary, political, true, and pure Muhammadan Islam.”

Dissociation from clerics, dissociation from revolutionary Islam: Ayatollah Ramazani

On Sunday, June 5, 2021, in the provincial commemoration for “15 Khordad Uprising” (The demonstrations of June 5 and 6, also called the events of June 1963 protests in Iran against the arrest of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini by Shah), and the commemoration of the martyr Hojat al-Islam Sayed Younes Rudbari, in Grand Mosque of Rudbar, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Islam, like other religions, has come to comprehensively spread divine mercy for humanity.”

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is a mercy for the world, and his management was based on ethics.”

“Due to his outstanding morals and behavior, the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was able to influence human society, and during his 23-year prophethood, Islam became widespread. The claim that “Islam is a religion of violence” is a distortion. However, Islam has ordered jihad against the polytheists and tyrants, and the Holy Quran emphasizes resistance against the oppressors,” he added.

“The Umayyads and Abbasids used religion to gain power, not to guide the people,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Today, Machiavellians use any means to consolidate and increase power.”

“The Infallibles (a.s.) and religious scholars have argued that religion should be for guidance, and that religious values should be observed in society. With the institutionalization of religious values in human society, it will prosper individually and socially,” he mentioned.

“Throughout history, some have tried to restrict religion. In Europe and America, there are 4,000 false spiritualities, from which religion and God are excluded,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Society must be governed by religious precepts, and the social aspect of religion must be revived,” he stated, “Dignitaries such as Martyr Ayatollah Modarres, Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri, Ayatollah Kashani, etc., in different historical periods, tried to achieve religious rule in society.”

“Today, human society is governed in such a way that religion cannot be the basis of governance. In Muslim countries, religion is not the basis of governance. For example, the governance system of Indonesia, with 225 million Muslim population, is not Islamic,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.

“Also, in Saudi Arabia, the rulers who claim to be the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, stablish an ominous triangle, and ratify major arms deals in the capital, Riyadh,” he continued.

“If Islamic countries were united, they could be an economic power today. But, by creating divisions, the Westerners prevented this alliance. The global arrogance, using some individuals and the groups it formed, has tried to introduce Islam as a religion of violence, and to portray the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) as thirsty for power. But all their conspiracies have been foiled,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Imam Khomeini (r.a.) believed that nothing would happen if the people themselves did not rise up. Sacrifice is required for the full realization of justice in society,” he said.

“Former Soviet Union introduced religion as ‘opium for people’,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “And the West, in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, waged a war of religion and the Quran, claiming that they would only accept things that could be proven to them by experience.”

“With the implementation of religion in the social sphere, man is promoted and does not remain in the materialistic life. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) also emphasized that man should develop himself, and acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, etc., provide the ground for his progress,” he added.

“Martyr Motahari believed that Imam Khomeini (r.a.) was enduring, and God was felt in all his dimensions,” continued the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Imam Khomeini (r.a.) was not afraid of anyone and said that he is always present in the field of action for God. He said that even if he was exiled to the seas, he would rise up in the way of God there. We should believe only in God as the source of power. If he wants, all the palaces of power will collapse,” he said.

Ayatollah Ramazani continued to say, “People like Martyr Rudbari were students of Imam Khomeini’s school, and they were always ready to revive the religion of God and the divine commandments. Today, the confrontation between political and pro-justice Islam against global arrogance is underway.”

“The martyr Sayed Yunus Rudbari, the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Shrine Defenders, sought the pride of Muslims. Muslims must be strong, and proudly stand against the oppression of the tyrants,” he emphasized.

“Without the political and social dimension of human life, Muslims will have nothing to say in the world,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Imam Khomeini (r.a.) sought to introduce a solution in the postmodern world, and that is the fact that Islam has the governance power,” he added, “15 Khordad Uprising coincided with the 12th of Muharram (1383 AH). This means that the month of Muharram (and the uprising of Imam Hussein) can manifest the political dimension of religion.”

“In 1986, during the eight-year Iraq-Iran war, a conference in Tel Aviv concluded that the people and youth of Islamic Iran believed in the culture of Ashura, the truth of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and the living Promised Savior. In 1979, zealous young Iranians came to the fore to carry out the divine ules, and today we are entrusted with the Islamic Republic, and it must be properly protected,” Ayatollah Ramazani noted.

“The Islamic Revolution must be entrusted to the deprived. For the Islamic Revolution to continue its path, we must make progress on scientific issues, ethics and spirituality, and the realization of justice,” he continued.

“Islam emphasizes preserving ethics in management and politics. What have kept Islam alive so far has been the original clerics represented by Sheikh Mufid, Sheikh Saduq, Martyr Modarres, and so on,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Dissociation from clerics means dissociation from revolutionary, political, true, and pure Muhammadan Islam,” he added.

“Unfortunately, some people mistakenly blame the leader of the revolution and the president for the collapse of the Metropole building in Abadan. However, they have nothing to do with this issue. The perpetrators and traitors of such incidents need to be tried without any waiver,” Ayatollah Ramazani said, emphasizing that the government is trying to solve economic problems, and efforts must be made to prevent pressure on the people.

“Officials and clerics should be more cautious in their conduct and should not seek personal use of their positions and gaining power,” he clarified, referring to the fact that the Islamic Republic is advancing rapidly, and the enemy is trying to usurp the hijab, the government and Islam.

Sating that gratitude for the blessings of the Islamic Revolution means supporting Islam, the people and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly concluded, “With more diligence, parliament representatives can take appropriate measures to strengthen the infrastructure of the provinces.”
