In his visit to the University of Religions and Denominations, while getting acquainted with the scientific and research achievements of the university, Hojat al-Islam Abolghasem Moqimi Haji met with Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abolhassan Navab, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and President of the University of Religions and Denominations.
In this meeting, in the office of the president of the University of Religions and Denominations, while expressing his happiness with the visit of the deputy for research affairs of seminaries of the University, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abolhassan Navab said, “With research at the forefront of its activities, the University of Religions and Denominations has had a research background since its inception, and it is a research-oriented university in the true sense of the word.”
Referring to the publication of 16 scientific-research journals and more than 400 books in the University of Religions and Denominations, the President of the University continued, “Today, we are proud that the works published by the university have been praised in various academic forums and festivals and have been announced as selected works.”
“One of the issues that scientific and academic circles must seriously bear in mind is student dissertations. Unfortunately, it has been observed that sometimes the subject of dissertations is repetitive, and they are written without considering the actual requirements of the society,” emphasized the Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“By supporting the dissertations of its students and guiding them to study and research in more practical matters, the University of Religions and Denominations seeks to address the concerns of the country’s academic community,” added the president of the University of Religions and Denominations.

Then in the meeting, while appreciating the activities of the Deputy Office for Research Affairs of seminaries, and its head Hojat al-Islam Abolghasem Moqimi Haji, President of the University of Religions and Denominations said, “I hope that with recognition and support for the capacities and capabilities of the academic and seminary societies, the Deputy for Research Affairs of seminaries will proceed to address the scientific concerns of the society. At the University of Religions and Denominations, we declare our full willingness to collaborate as much as possible with that office, and we welcome it.”
In the meeting, while presenting a report on the research activities of his respective deputy, Hojat al-Islam Abolghasem Moqimi Haji, deputy for research affairs of seminaries, said, “With the guidance and support of Ayatollah Arafi, and the efforts of seminary intellectuals all over the country, fundamental and excellent activities are taking shape.”
“At this office, we seek to explore and prioritize research cases, and we welcome and support new ideas and projects. I hope we will initiate and complete joint research works with the University of Religions and Denominations,” said Hojat al-Islam Moqimi Haji, referring to the establishment of a secretariat to support research projects in the Deputy Office for Research Affairs of Seminaries.
It should be mentioned that in this meeting, Dr. Mostafa Jafar Tayari, Dr. Mohammad Moinifar, and Dr. Mahdi Farmanian expressed their views and exchanged opinions with the officials of the Deputy Office for Research Affairs of Seminaries.
