Valuable capacity to promote the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in North Africa: Asadi Movahed

The Conference “Study of the priorities and strategies for disseminating the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in the international arena; with emphasis on the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Latin America regions” will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.

In the conference, the head of Al-Huda International Publication said, “If the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.) is introduced correctly, its followers will increase day by day.”

“The people of Africa need the knowledge of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) more than any other continent. If we introduce the teachings of the Infallible Imams (a.s.) correctly, the tendency towards this school will increase. In the past, the population of Shiites in Zambia was very small, but today the Shiites of this country have three schools and four libraries,” added Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Asadi Movahed.

“Due to the Sufism in North Africa, there is a very valuable capacity in this region to promote the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.). In a book fair in Africa, one of the pavilions that was very popular for the visitors was the pavilion of the School of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) for the display of Nahj al-Balaghah, Sahifa al-Sajadiyya, etc. books. If we can study in these areas and attend properly, we will succeed,” he stated.

“One of our tasks is to strengthen the spiritual strength of the Shiites. Also, one of the necessities is to know the elites of any society. To achieve this goal, we must communicate with the target community with a scientific and cultural approach,” said the head of Al-Huda International Publications, emphasizing the accuracy of publishing and distributing books in Africa.

“A way to work in North, East and West Africa is to take advantage of educational opportunities. Education is not just the establishment of a seminary. Rather, it is the establishment of schools that teach science so that its graduates can find jobs,” he said, referring to the need for exchange of views of Shiite thinkers.

“We must communicate with the local Shiites of each region who are interested in the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the thoughts of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and offer the knowledge of AhlulBayt (a.s.) to our audience,” Asadi Movahed added.

“On the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), we can offer the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in African countries. To achieve these goals, we must avoid superstitions. Exaggeration in Shiite figures and statistics also has harms,” he said in the end.
