Referring to the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Karbala, the Deputy for International Affairs of the Assembly said, “More than 30 distinguished and influential figures from different countries delivered speeches in different fields at the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Karbala.”

The Head of the Executive Board of the Association of Lebanese Muslim Ulama, and the coordinator of the country’s Islamic Action Front, met with the Chairman of the Ashura International Foundation.

In the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, at the closing ceremony of the international event “We are the children of Imam Hussain (a.s.)”, “Special Poster of Arbaeen in 63 World Countries” was unveiled.

Referring to the suspicion raised by Wahhabis that “Imam Hussain (a.s.) was killed by Shiites”, the expert on sects and denominations explained, “Ibn Taymiyya took a dual approach to the Karbala affair: on the one hand, accepting the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and on the other hand, blaming the Kufis for this murder and whitewashing Yazid.”

The representative of Imam Hussain’s (a.s.) Holy Shrine stated, “Imam Hussain (a.s.) is not exclusive to Shiites and has become a global cause. In the past, we Shiites of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) were boycotted by the media. But now media arenas are open to us.”

The CEO of the Ashura International Foundation stated, “Today, in Western and non-Muslim societies, the culture of vulgarity, obscenity, and animal freedoms is promoted because they have no hope and no place. They do not value humanity.”

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “Religious figures and leaders should show the world the correct image of Imam Hussain (a.s.). Also, the Ashura incident and all its dimensions should be introduced correctly and accurately.”
