Allameh Sayed Hashem Safieddine, symbol of Resistance: Ayatollah Ramazani
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Mujahid Allameh Sayed Hashem Safieddine, was one of the mujahids and symbols of the Resistance Front and the cause of Palestine, that is the central cause of the Islamic Ummah.”
ABWA Official Website – In a statement, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Sayed Hashem Safieddine, the head of the executive council of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.
In his message, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “Mujahid Allameh Sayed Hashem Safieddine was one of the mujahids and symbols of the Resistance Front and the cause of Palestine, that is the central cause of the Islamic Ummah, who was loved by all Mujaheds, free people, nobles of his country as well as the region, and his blessed life was ended by the martyrdom in the path to the Quds.”
Ayatollah Ramazani’s message of condolence, originally issued in Arabic, is as follows:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
فَلْيُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يَشْرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ يُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُقْتَلْ أَوْ يَغْلِبْ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward. (Holy Quran, 4: 74)
O children of our proud Islamic Ummah!
O heroic Lebanese people!
O steadfast people of the South!
The Islamic world received the news of the martyrdom of a mujahid Sayed, who spent his life alongside his leader and brother Sayed of the Martyrs of the victorious Islamic Resistance in defense of truth, justice, and the oppressed, and resistance against disbelief, arrogance, oppression, aggression, and occupation, while he was concerned about the ummah and the poor and was a servant of the public in all fields. He and his friends, including the eternal leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, as well as the field commanders of all Resistance groups, are martyrs in the path of the Holy Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Mujahid Allameh Sayed Hashem Safieddine was one of the mujahids and symbols of the Resistance Front and the cause of Palestine, that is the central cause of the Islamic Ummah, who was loved by all Mujaheds, free people, nobles of his country as well as the region. Everyone considered this martyr a hero in the confrontation fields against the Zionist enemy, a wise manager in many cases and tasks assigned to him, a constant and assiduous supporter of Islamic Resistance, a servant of humanity, the homeland, the Ummah, and the deprived, and a defender of the authentic Muhammadan Islam, whose blessed life was ended by the martyrdom in the path to the Quds. May God have mercy on him, grant him a place in heaven, and reunite him with his ancestors, the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the Infallible Imams (a.s.), as well as martyrs and righteous people.
In the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, with hearts that believe in divine decree and destiny, and God’s promise of definitive victory, with full respect and pride, we mourn the martyrdom of this noble Mujahid Allameh. We ask God to have mercy on him with His vast grace and grant him His forgiveness and satisfaction. We offer our condolences on the martyrdom of this martyr and those who martyred with him and before him, to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the Leader of the Ummah Imam Khamenei, and his respected family, relatives, and his enthusiasts, as well as the Islamic Ummah and the Lebanese nation, mujahideen and his comrades in Hezbollah.
Hereby we testify that Martyr Sayed Hashem Safieddine was one of the flag bearers of the Resistance, and he was a symbol and a role model in politics, jihad, knowledge, and ethics, who sacrificed his precious life in the way of God, religion, Resistance, Ummah, homeland, and Palestine. He marked the highest loyalty to his commander and brother Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, who was his support and backing on this path and assisted him. Until God gave these two his victory and granted them “two most excellent things” (إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ), and by God’s permission, victory will be granted to their followers.
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ * وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ * وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ * وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ * وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ * وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ * سَلَامٌ عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ * إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ * إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun * And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress * And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers * And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear * And We guided them both on the right way * And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations * Peace be on Musa and Haroun * Even thus do We reward the doers of good * Surely they were both of Our believing servants * (Holy Quran, Surah: As-Saaffat, Verses 114 to 122)
Indeed, God helps those who help Him and defend His religion. God is strong and invincible.
