Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) is a trans-religious figure: Taeb

Abu Talib’s character must be examined beyond the theological aspect. Because he is a figure who, if introduced to China, Russia or any other country, everyone will want him. It has been observed that a Christian scholar honors his right to defend him.

Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) is a trans-religious figure: Taeb

In a meeting with the organizers of the Abu Talib (a.s.) International Conference, referring to the unique role of Abu Talib (a.s.) in strengthening and perpetuating Islam, the Chairman of the Council of the Ammar Strategic Headquarters said, “He has served in Islam as a soldier and was even more than a soldier, and the name of the unknown commander is beautiful for him and for the conference.”

“Commanders usually command one-dimensionally. One is a good swordsman, the other has a strong logic, one benefits from his strong social capital, and some use their wealth. But Abu Talib (a.s.) was comprehensive and used his sword, language and logic, social capital and wealth to strengthen Islam and was a role model not only for Muslims but also for humanity,” continued Hojat al-Islam “Mahdi Taeb”, the chairman of the Council of Ammar Strategic Headquarters.

“Here we have two duties: first, to free him from oppression, and second; when we have a role model like him, we must free ourselves from oppression and become like him,” he said, according to Hawzah News Agency, referring to the work of Allameh Amini regarding the oppression against Abu Talib (a.s.).

“Abu Talib (a.s.) is a multi-dimensional man and there is no need to make hadiths to introduce him. With this background in defending the right, it is necessary to introduce him and examine this aspect of his personality. One of the effects of the conference could be to neutralize the hostility of ISIL towards him and to re-create thoughts,” stated Hojat al-Islam Taeb.

“Abu Talib’s confrontation with the Jews is part of the hidden parts of history which is explored analytically. But there is a history regarding his support for the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and it cannot be denied. His resistance dimension should also be examined because it can be a good model for those who are disappointed with the resistance,” he said.

“Abu Talib’s character must be examined beyond the theological aspect. Because he is a figure who, if introduced to China, Russia or any other country, everyone will want him. It has been observed that a Christian scholar honors his right to defend him,” added the chairman of the Council of Ammar Strategic Headquarters.

“The strong potential of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) in theology and logic was so great that he was able to subdue people like Abu Jahl,” he stated, referring to the discourse power of Abu Talib (a.s.).

“ISIL recruited large numbers of its troops from the Caucasus region. On the other hand, we see Wahhabism activities in India and Pakistan. Given these circumstances, it would be appropriate for conference organizers to have a special focus on submitting works and articles from these areas,” said Hojat al-Islam Taeb.

“Abu Talib (a.s.) should be examined from a trans-religious perspective. Through this way, he can be introduced in different countries, even in South America. When such figures like Abu Talib are introduced, they become more prominent than Che Guevara. In a situation where countries like Saudi Arabia have introduced the dark face of Islam to the world, Abu Talib (a.s.) can shine like a spotlight on the dusty face of Islam, and make its truth clear to all,” he said.

At the beginning of the meeting, referring to the postponement of the conference since 2018, the director general of research of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly Hojat al-Islam Al-Ayub, said, “The Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly initiated this conference with the aim of removing oppression from Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), but several problems caused the conference to be postponed until this year,”

It should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, “Imam Hossein (a.s.)
