Poetry ceremony “Mysterious Rite - Commemoration of Hazrat Abu Talib” held in Tehran

On Saturday, poets from Iran, Syria, Oman and Kuwait recited poems at the Poetry Ceremony of “Mysterious Rite of Abu Talib Poetry” at the “Iran Book and Literature House” in Tehran.

 

Poetry ceremony “Mysterious Rite - Commemoration of Hazrat Abu Talib” held in Tehran

Organized by the “AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly”, “Secretariat of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib; Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)”, and “Institute of the House of Books and Literature of Iran”, Poetry ceremony “Mysterious Rite - Commemoration of Hazrat Abu Talib” was held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Tehran.


In this literary circle, which was held under the cultural and artistic programs of “International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)”, poets from Iran, Syria, Oman and Kuwait recited poetry in the presence of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General, and Hojat al-Islam Ahmadi Tabar, Deputy Secretary General and Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.


“Ehsan Rezaei” was the host of this program, and Among the poets’ poetry readings, he read excerpts from the ancient texts of the book of “Qaf”, excerpts from the book of “Sharaf al-Nabi”, “The Biography of the Prophet Muhammad”, and the “Tafsir of Surabadi”.


In “Mysterious Rite of Abu Talib Poetry”, poets “Abbas Barati Pur”, “Abd al-Rahim Saeedi Rad”, “Ahmad Alavi”, “Abbas Gerami”, “Mustafa Mohaddesi Khorasani”, “Reza Ismaili”, “Mahmoud Habibi Kasbi”, and “Mohammad Javad Aseman” from Iran recited their poems. Also, Sheikh “Nabil Al-Halbawi”, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the guardian of the shrine of Hazrat Roghayeh (a.s.) from Damascus, Syria, “Mohammad Abbas Ali” from Latakia, Syria, “Aqeel Al-Lawati” from Oman, and “Sheikh Abdul Rasul al-Furati” from Kuwait recited their poems describing Abu Talib (a.s.) in the form of a video conference.


This poetry conference was broadcast live on the Thaqalayn International TV, the Aabarat Internet TV, as well as live on the Book and Literature House of Iran.


Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the first poet of Islam and the Prophet (p.b.u.h)


Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly have also delivered speech in the “Mysterious Rite of Abu Talib Poetry”.


“Hazrat Abu Talib was the first poet of Islam and the poet of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) who devoted his entire honorable life to defending the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h),” he said, appreciating the poets who have praised the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Family in their poems.


“The position of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was so high that the great Prophet of Islam called the year of his death Year of grief,” he noted, considering the discussion about Abu Talib (a.s.) as a discussion about the history of Islam.


It should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, “Imam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine”, “Hazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute”, “The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought”, “Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office”, “Al-Mustafa International University”, “Hawza Language teaching center”, “International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)”, “Mirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute”, “Jamiat al-Zahra Seminary University”, “Zorria al-Nabawia Research Center”, “Qasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute”, and “Abna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute”; international conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” will be held on Rajab 25, 26 and 27, 1442 (Mrch 9, 10 and 11, 2021) on the anniversary of the death of Abu Talib (a.s.).


The deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.
