The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met and talked with Ayatollah Bashir Najafi, a Shiite source of emulation, in Najaf.

On the day of Arbaeen, the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Karbala is the meeting place of millions of the enthusiasts of that Imam who have come to this area from different parts of the world. The grave of Martyr Sayed Mustafa Khomeini is located in the shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.), next to the grave of Mohammad Hossein Gharavi Esfahani, known as the “company”. After the pilgrimage of Imam Ali (a.s.), pilgrims come to the rave of martyr Mustafa Khomeini and recite Surah Fatiha.

18,095 Pakistani pilgrims have entered Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan Province, as the only entry gate for Pakistani pilgrims going to Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.). In the ceremony of welcoming and serving Pakistani pilgrims in this province of Iran, the unity of Shia and Sunni was fully witnessed.

During his visit to Samarra, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the officials of the city, and on behalf of the government and people of Iran expressed his appreciation and gratitude for good cooperation and hospitality of the Iraqi people and authorities during the Arbaeen ceremony.

Children, along with their parents, also participated in the Arbaeen ceremony to express their love for Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his loyal companions.

On the anniversary of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the Cultural Consultancy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Spain organized an exhibition of selected photos in the 6^th World Arbaeen Award at the Ulma Carisa gallery in Madrid.
