In a video message, while offering his condolences on the martyrdom of two clerics in the terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.), Ayatollah Salehi Modarres, the head of the Council of Shiite Ulama of Afghanistan, said, “The enemies of Islam have targeted the unity and brotherhood of the Islamic society, and we must be vigilant that our unity is not harmed.”

The head of the Council of Shiite Ulama of Afghanistan added, “The council strongly condemns both terrorist crimes in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.) and the Pol Kheshti Mosque in Kabul, and other similar crimes, and prays for highest degrees for the martyrs, and for immediate healing of the injured.”
“Takfiri terrorists have been trained and selected in such a way that they do not adhere to any religion or nation, and do not observe any limits or respect. We call on the relevant authorities, the committed media, and the Muslim actors on social media to deal with these conspiracies vigilantly, and to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies,” Ayatollah Salehi Modarres stated.
