In a message, Hojat al-Islam Pahlawanzadeh Behbahani, head of the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq, expressed his condolences on the demise of Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Fuad al-Meqdadi, an Iraqi member of the General Assembly of the Assembly.

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq extends its condolences on the demise of Sheikh Fuad al-Meqdadi, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
The deceased spent his life in acquiring knowledge, jihad, fighting tyranny and seeking reform. He was very active in various religious, propagation, cultural, social and political fields.
On this occasion, I offer my condolences to all the missionary brothers and sisters, especially the missionary brothers and sisters of the Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
I ask God to place the deceased in His paradise, and to grant his family and relatives endless patience and reward.

The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
