During his visit to Iraq, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the construction plan to expand the shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.) in Najaf. In the visit, the Secretary-General and the accompanying delegation visited the newly established courtyard of Hazrat Fatemeh Al-Zahra (a.s.) and its infrastructure, including massive chiller devices and a water supply system. Also, in a meeting that took place during this program, Hojat al-Islam Hossein Ahmadi, one of the officials of the Headquarters for the Reconstruction of the Holy Shrines, explained about the development plans.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
