This book has a look at the solutions for reviving Islamic thought and reviving the intellectual life of Islam and contains the text of the author’s five lectures on the mentioned subject, in which the necessity of paying attention to the spirit of Islam and not being satisfied with the appearances of the Sharia is emphasized.

In the first speech, Iqbal Lahori’s view that Western culture is devoid of human conduct has been mentioned, and in the second speech, the process of changing Muslims’ thoughts about the effect of action on human felicity has been examined.

In the following sections, the author has explored the true meaning of asceticism and leaving the world from the perspective of Islam, and in addition to warning against false perceptions of asceticism, he has noted the tremendous impact of its correct meaning on the reform of Muslim social affairs.
