While appreciating and thanking the Supreme Leader of the Revolution for his valuable words in the meeting with the members of the General Assembly, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Wise statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution will be the document and road map of the 7th General Assembly.”
On Saturday afternoon, September 3, 2022, at the closing ceremony of the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iran International Conference Center in Tehran, while appreciating and thanking the Supreme Leader for his wise statements in the meeting with the members, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Wise statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution will be the document and road map of the 7th General Assembly.”
“I would also like to acknowledge and thank the sources of emulation for their valuable messages to the conference, the honorable president and his wife for participating in the conference, and the heads of the commissions for the valuable topics they raised,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“More than 1000 hours of work and study were done to hold the 7th General Assembly. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is following a transformational discourse,” he clarified.
Appreciating the Assembly members who were diligent to attend the commissions despite their tight schedules, Ayatollah Ramazani noted, “350 guests from 117 countries and 350 domestic guests participated in the 7th General Assembly.”
“Certainly, the holding of international meetings is faced with shortcomings,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “I apologize for all the shortcomings, and I hope this conference can achieve its goals.”
In the end, referring to the anniversary of the captivity of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the approaching Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), he said, “We owe everything we have to the grace of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and infallible and immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
