The Islamic Movement of Nigeria announced, “This year, the walk commemorating Arbaeen in Nigeria was the first peaceful walk without tension and conflict by the country’s security bodies since 2015.”

Hojat al-Islam Sayed Sajid Ali Naqvi stated, “In the last fourteen centuries, humanity considers being with Imam Hussain (a.s.) as a source of honor and guidance, and people from every religion, school of thought, region and country follow his path.”

As in previous years, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly participated in the Arbaeen Great Walk, and along with the enthusiasts of Imam Hussain (a.s.), walked on foot from Najaf to Karbala. In this journey, he visited the Grand Mowkeb of Imam Reza (a.s.), AhlulBayt (a.s.) University of Karbala, Mowkeb of Ashura International Foundation, Yas Nabawi Volunteer Doctors Clinic, and Mowkeb of Call of Al-Aqsa. The following pictures show some scenes of the walk and visits.

Grand Mosque of Kufa is one of the most important mosques in the world. During Arbaeen Walk and pilgrimage, many Shiites go to this mosque to worship.

The Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced, “3.4 million pilgrims from Iran traveled to Iraq for the pilgrimage of the holy shrines, and so far, more than 2.4 million of them have returned back.”

Ayatollah Noori Hamadani emphasized, “Arbaeen is one of the important and historical events that show the greatness of AhlulBayt (a.s.) culture, and this movement is considered as a ritual of Allah.”

Mohammad Mostahsan, one of the directors of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Portugal, stated, “The ideology of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and unity were two fundamental principles that Imam Khomeini (r.a.) shed light on and adhered to.”

Wadi al-Salam is a cemetery located in the city of Najaf near the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.). Some hadiths show the virtues of this cemetery. In this cemetery, there are the graves of Hud (a.s.) and Saleh (a.s.), among divine prophets mentioned in the Quran, as well as the graves of many scholars and Muslims. Arbaeen pilgrims visit this cemetery for the pilgrimage of the Hud (a.s.) and Saleh (a.s.) and ulama, such as Ayatollah Qazi, as well as the brave man of Tangistan, Rais Ali Delwari.
