Library “Center for Islamic Studies” in Pardisan, Qom; Scientific base for new generation: Son of late Khosrowshahi

The late Professor Khosrowshahi brought several books from his foreign trips to Iran, some of which are unique, and are only in the library of the “Center for Islamic Studies”.

The unveiling ceremony of the new software of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the commemoration of the late Professor “Sayed Hadi Khosrowshahi” was held on Monday, March 8, 2021 in the “Library of the Center for Islamic Studies” in Pardisan Qom in the presence of a limited number of guests, with observing health protocols.


In this ceremony, which was held on the occasion of the first anniversary of Prof. Khosrowshahi’s demise and coincided with the day of Sayed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi, the website “Rah-e Hadi’ affiliated to the Office for Preservation and Publication of Prof. Khosroshahi’s Works and Thoughts was inaugurated by the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.




In this ceremony, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, and the President of the Assembly of Islamic Thought and a longtime friend of the late Khosrowshahi, Mohammad Saeed Al-Nu'mani delivered speech. Also, the Director General of Information Technology of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Alireza Hosseini Aref, the director of the library of the Center for Islamic Studies, Sayed Mahmoud Khosrowshahi and the director of the Northwest office of ABNA News Agency Sayed Kazem Zafranchiller, presented a report on the activity of their respective centers.

“My late father intended to establish a large library in 1960s, and he had said this in one of his articles. The capacity of the “Center for Islamic Studies” library is 100,000 volumes of books, but it currently has 58,000 ones,” stated the son of the late Professor Sayed Hadi Khosrowshahi, after welcoming the audiences, and introducing the library of the “Center for Islamic Studies (established by the late Professor Khosrowshahi).


“My late father corresponded with various scholars and figures, and scholars have donated many books to the library of the “Center for Islamic Studies”. Including the late Ayatollah “Asefi”, who donated books to the library in 1357,” added Mr. Sayed Mahmoud Khosrowshahi.


“There is a good opportunity and capacity for cooperation between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of and the library,” he clarified, noting that there are only 37 titles of the books of the Assembly in this library.


“In addition to the reading room, 9 rooms are provided for researchers and for educational topics in the library of the “Center for Islamic Studies”,” added the director of the library of the Center for Islamic Studies, expressing that from the point of view of the late Khosrowshahi, this library can be a scientific base for the new generation.



Unveiling of software and opening of Rah-e Hadi website

At the end of the ceremony, with the presence of gentlemen, Ramezani, Al-Nu’mani, Sayed Monzar Hakim, new software of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly – including A’lam al-Hidaya (in Arabic, for Android), “In the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.)” (in Persian, for Android), “Fi Rihab AhlulBayt (a.s.) (in Arabic, for iOS), “Ashura culture” (in Persian, for Android), “Wahhabism” (in Persian, for Android), and “Studies in Wahhabism” (in Arabic, for Android) – was unveiled.




Also, in this ceremony, in honor of the memory of the ambassador of the Shiite school in international forums, the late Professor Sayed Hadi Khosroshahi, the website: “Rah-e Hadi” affiliated to the Office for Preservation and Publication of Works and Thoughts of Prof. Khosroshahi was inaugurated by Ayatollah Ramazani at www.rahe-hadi.ir.
