Ayatollah Ramazani met with Molana Qibla Ayaz, Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan.
Molana Qibla Ayaz, Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan, met and talked with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this meeting, explaining the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani, stated, “At the present time, it is the duty of all of us Muslims to provide the best thought to humanity. Because liberalism has reached a dead end. Muslim countries and Islamic leaders must provide an Islamic model for life. The requirement for this is the formation of more connections and interactions between the ulama of the Islamic world so that the authority of Muslims increases even more.”
Referring to the increasing number of people and elites of the world turning to Islam, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “In European universities, attention to religion and a revision of the view of religion have begun, and the world is thirsty for authentic Islam.”
While emphasizing the deep and friendly relationship between the two brotherly countries of Iran and Pakistan, Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out, “The religious relations between the two countries will have positive results for both, as well as the Islamic world.”
The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly also invited the Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan to visit Iran and considered the existence of this council as a sign of Pakistan’s special attention to Islam and Muslims.
Further in the meeting, Molana Qibla Ayaz also expressed his satisfaction with Ayatollah Ramazani’s visit to Pakistan, and the opportunity created to deepen the relations and cooperation between the ulama and elites of Iran and Pakistan.
“The establishment of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan is the order of the country’s government,” he mentioned, “This council has a duty similar to that of Iran’s Guardian Council, and ulama and elders of denominations and schools of thought are members of it.”
While referring to the coming days of mourning for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the month of Muharram, the head of the Pakistan Ideological Council emphasized, “Before the arrival of the month of Muharram and the beginning of mourning ceremonies, we hold meetings for further coordination. One of the fruits of these meetings is the fervent holding of Muharram mourning ceremonies while maintaining unity (of Shia and Sunni).”
Referring to his visit to Iran two years ago, Qibla Ayaz added, “Two years ago, I traveled to Iran and while visiting some Islamic institutions and centers, my view of Iran changed, and it had a positive effect on me. Unfortunately, we do not have a research center for Shiite Fiqh (jurisprudence) in Pakistan, and we would like some people from Pakistan to go to Iran to understand and learn Shiite Fiqh.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is the pioneer in scientific and research fields. It is good to prepare a text for the memorandum of understanding between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Ideological Council of Pakistan, so that the field for scientific and research cooperation is provided,” Dr. Qibla Ayaz said in the end.
