“Qadr Night”, night of revival of human heart, mind, reason, thought: Ayatollah Ramazani

Pointing out that the Ehya of “Qadr Night” means the revival of the human heart, mind, reason, and thought, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Divine sustenance is spread on this night and man should be awake and benefit.”

In the 19th episode of the special internet program “Facing the Sky”, which is broadcast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out that Qadr Night is one of the great nights in which the destinies and sustenance of a year are determined, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “Qadr Night is better than a thousand months. On this night, every good deed of man is counted a thousand times.”


“Man should strive to awaken Qadr Nights and to recognize, think and benefit the divine blessings,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, considering the Qadr Night as a night of gratitude to God Almighty.


“This night is the night of the revelation of the Quran and the night of the descent of the angels and Gabriel,” he emphasized, referring to the virtues of the Qadr Night.


“On this night, divine mercy and security descend,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified, saying that the Qadr Nights are very dignified.


“According to the Hadith, in the last 10-days of the holy month of Ramadan, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) prepared all the arrangements for worship, stayed up at night and worshiped,” emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.


“Comprehending a spiritual sustenance is an important point to consider,” he added, pointing out that the Qadr Night is a kind of human spiritual sustenance and man should benefit it.


“Unfortunately, many people spend the Qadr Nights and after many years of their lives, they have not benefited from the virtue of these nights,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.


“Divine sustenance is spread on this night and man should be awake and benefit,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of the, saying that the Qadr Night is the night of reflection, contemplation, and evacuation.


“The Qadr Night is the night of communication with the source of divine grace, namely the Infallible Imams (a.s.) and Imam Mahdi (a.s.),” he emphasized, pointing out that man should place himself in the stronghold of divine Tawhid (monotheism).


“If man can benefit from prayers, he will reach the peak,” added Ayatollah Ramazani, emphasizing that on the Qadr Night, the prayers of Joshan Kabir, Abu Hamza Thomali, and the inauguration have been ordered because of their virtues.


“Man must strive to experience sincerity more in practice,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, recognizing the Qadr Night as an opportunity for monotheistic discussions.


“Man should know his value on the Qadr Night and stay awake (and worship) until morning,” he added.


“Man must create spiritual and real life during these nights to benefit it throughout the year,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, pointing out that the Ehya of Qadr Night means the revival of the human heart, mind, reason, and thought.


“It is a sound heart that can respond to the call of truth and benefit security,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, saying that one can benefit from the greetings of the divine angels who have a sound heart.


“Man’s peace of mind submits him to divine destinies and wisdom,” he said, emphasizing that a person calms down when he is safe.


“Among the effects of fasting are attaining wisdom, knowledge, and certainty,” added Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that man should ask God on the Qadr Night to reach the certainty.


“When man reaches the certainty, he endures all hardships,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of the pointed out.


“We have to ask God for patience and forbearance because they are the security that we must seek and achieve on these nights,” in the end, he said.
