In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The demise of the sage scholar, pious writer, a great hadith scholar, and a just thinker, Allameh Mohammad Reza Hakimi caused regret and sorrow.

The wise Islamic studies and Quran researcher spent his blessed life researching and writing in the field of the Prophet’s book (Quran) and traditions, and left a lasting legacy for those who look for “Pure Life” and “The Sun of Occident”.

The simplicity of life, having a thorough vision, innovation, justice, and his enthusiastic defense of the Islamic Revolution and the late Imam during the years of struggle against the oppressive regime of Shah and after, will always remain in the memory of his enthusiasts.

I offer my condolences on this irreparable loss to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei - who mourned his longtime friend - and to the great authorities of imitation, the seminary of Holy Mashhad, his students, and admirers, especially Dear Hakimi family.

From God, for the deceased as well as his newly deceased brother, the late Hojat al-Islam Ali Hakimi, I ask for the exaltation, and for his family and relatives, I ask for patience.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)

Reza Ramazani

Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly
