Statement of Commission for Local Assemblies and Missionaries of 7th General Assembly of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly

At the closing ceremony of the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the final statement of the Commission for Local Assemblies and Missionaries was read by Hussain Makki.

Reading the statement, Hojat al-Islam Hossein Makki said, “By the blessing of God, with the recourse to the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and in the light of Imam Mahdi’s (a.s.) grace, the Commission for Local Assemblies and Missionaries of the Africa-Arab, Europe-Americas, and Asia-Oceania regions of the 7th General Assembly was held on September 2, 2022 (Safar 5, 1444), with the presence and diligence of selected members the General Assembly.”

“The topics emphasized in the discussions of the meetings and sessions of the mentioned commissions were: The need to pay attention to the valuable guidelines of the Guardian of Muslims, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, in adopting a change approach, and in accordance with the sensitive international conditions of the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) regarding the Shiite local assemblies, centers, and activities,” he added.

Some of the clauses of the final statement of the commission that was read by Hojat al-Islam Makki, are as follows: The necessity of forming, launching, and strengthening the AhlulBayt (a.s.) local Assemblies, attention to the education of local missionaries, planning to use the capacity of Shiite figures and elites in revitalizing and setting up local assemblies, strengthening, synergy and coherence of local assemblies in the form of regional assemblies, development and expansion of the level of comparative advantages to attract and create local assemblies by Shiite centers and figures, holding short-term training courses to improve the skills of missionaries and refine and organize them under the local assembly, development and expansion of local assemblies, planning for economic self-sufficiency of local communities through cultural, educational and economic activities.
