“Solidarity of Religions” offers Islamic principles for solidarity of religions: Hosseini

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, on the first anniversary of Hojat al-Islam Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari, the specialized conference “The situation of Shia in the West” was held.

Speaking at the conference, while congratulating the Eid al-Fitr, the director of the Imam Ali Islamic Center in Lugano, Switzerland, about the goals of the Yearbook of Solidarity of Religions, said, “Solidarity of the Religions Magazine is a way to reflect the news and views on solidarity among religions.”

“The Solidarity of Religions Magazine does not seek to make the followers of any religion to give up their belief. Rather, the union of religions is achieved using common and transcendental concepts, which is achieved through dialogue between the true followers of each religion, in order to bring peace to the world,” Dr. Sayed Ali Hosseini added.

“Solidarity of the religions is achieved by dialogue about religious concepts with patience and tolerance. In this way, peaceful coexistence will be established among the followers of all religions,” the son of the late Sayed Moghtada Hosseini stated.

“The message of the yearbook is that everyone has the right to have a different opinion. Followers of religions should not impose their beliefs on the others. Because all conflicts are caused by imposing opinions on others. Solidarity is a blessed path that begins with an intellectual effort to find and present common concepts of religions,” Dr. Hosseini said.

“This magazine tries to provide Islamic principles for the solidarity of religions so that it can be inspiring and committed to serving humanity. The culture of dialogue will deepen the relationship between religions,” he added.

“Recognizing common issues and topics is another goal of the magazine,” Dr. Hosseini added, “This bilingual magazine will be published annually in Persian-Italian, Persian-French and Persian-English in both electronic and print editions.”

“The concern of the founder of the Imam Ali (a.s.) Islamic center (the late Moghtada Hosseini) has always been peace. Therefore, we dedicated the first issue of the magazine to him, which was published under the name of ‘High cypress of Eghteda’,” the director of Imam Ali (a.s.) Islamic Center said.

“The main source of this issue is manuscripts written by Sayed Moghtada Hosseini. The first issue is available for free at ABNA News Agency, Mehr News Agency, the website of the Imam Ali (a.s.) Center and the Swiss National Library,” he added.

In the end, Dr. Hosseini appreciated the organizers of the conference “The Situation of Shia in the West”, speakers, guests and viewers.
