In a statement, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly condemned the martyrdom of a number of Afghan professors and students in the ISIL attack on the country's educational institutions.
A part of the statement reads, "The tragic news of the terrorist attack on Kabul University and the martyrdom of a number of oppressed professors and students of the friendly and brotherly country of Afghanistan and after that, the news of the terrorist explosion at Tabesh University in Maidan Shahr city, again caused great sorrow and regret to the honorable Iranian nation."
The text of this statement is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is hell; he shall abide in it, and Allah will send His wrath on him and curse him and prepare for him a painful chastisement." (Holy Quran 4:93)
A few days after the tragic massacre of the oppressed and defenseless professors and students of the friendly and brotherly country of Afghanistan by criminal ISIL terrorists at university of Kabul, the news of a terrorist act comes again; but this time an explosion at the Tabesh University in Maidan Shar city, which caused great sorrow and regret to the Iranian honorable nation.
Undoubtedly, such tragic events will remain in the notorious record of the US government and its allies, who sent troops to Afghanistan under the pretext of fighting terrorism and establishing security. God willing, we will soon see the complete elimination of terrorism and the establishment of justly peace and security in the region with the withdrawal of foreign forces by the zealous nation of Afghanistan.
Condemning this terrorist crime and expressing sympathy to the Muslim people of Afghanistan, especially the families of the martyrs and the wounded, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly prays for a great place in paradise for the martyrs of this incident, full and fast health for the wounded, and patience for the survivors and their families.
