دوشنبه, 02 مرداد 1402

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “The culture of Ashura and the belief originated from Ashura can make movements and reform society. The important lesson of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is that if a holy matter is insulted, we should sacrifice all our possessions to restore it.”

ABWA Official Website – On Sunday, July 23, 2023, during the mourning ceremony of the first ten days of Muharram in Mahdiyeh, Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “We must have a correct understanding of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the eternal movement of Ashura.”

“Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a comprehensive role model for all the world. We should follow the example of the uprising of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and all the events of Ashura,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Imam Hussain (a.s.) rose when the Islamic teachings and rules were faced with damages,” he stated, “Ashura uprising immortalized Islam.”

Referring to the faith originating from Ashura, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The highest and most comprehensive faith can be seen in Imam Hussain’s (a.s.) army.”

“Today, many seek to create distortions in Islami. Also, there are some people who are believers as long as the faith does not harm their livelihood and material life,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“We must first know Islam, then believe in it, and finally be religious. Imam Hussain’s (a.s.) army was at the highest level of theology, religious belief, and religiosity, and sacrificed their lives and property for the revival of Islam,” he emphasized.

In the continuation of his speech, while referring to the insulting of the Holy Quran in some Western countries, Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “Insulting the Holy Book of 2 billion Muslims is not compatible with any of the principles of freedom and even the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Insulting the holy things of Muslims is insulting all the followers of Abrahamic religions.”

“Muslim countries and members of the Islamic Conference must take a serious approach to the recent insult. The perpetrators of this incident should also be tried,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“After insulting the Quran and then the fatwa of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), Salman Rushdie has not lived even a single day in peace,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “Those who insult the beliefs of Muslims must pay for it.”
