In a visit to Mombasa, the chief of Shia community of Tanzania, the director of the Imam Jafar Sadeq (a.s.) seminary, and a delegation from Dar al-Salam participated in a funeral for the Kenyan Shiite scholar Sheikh Abdullahi Nasser Jumaa.
Funeral services for the great Kenyan scholar, the late Haj Sheikh Abdullahi Nasser Jumaa, were held in Mombasa.
Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Hamid Jalal, chief of the Shia community of Tanzania, director of the seminary of Imam Jafar Sadeq (a.s.), as well as a delegation from the Dar al-Salam, attended the ceremony.
In this meeting, Sheikh Jalal and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Sayed Idris Alavi and the eldest son of the late Abdullahi Nasser.
Also, after the Fateha recitation ceremony and attending at the tomb of this Shiite scholar, Sheikh Jalal delivered a speech.
Haj Sheikh Abdullahi Jumaa Nasser, a prominent Kenyan Shiite scholar and member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who played an important role in guiding the people and defending the Shiite school in East Africa, passed away at the age of 90.
After a funeral by the believers, the deceased was buried in Al-Hasanin Mosque (a.s.) in Mombasa and was buried in Ganjuni Cemetery.
