Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah contributed Islamic denominations’ approximation: Senior Cleric

The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization stated, “Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, during the thirty-two years tenure as the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, made great contributions to the approximation between religions, and between Islamic denominations.”

ABWA Official Website – On Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, the 194th comprehensive conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly began with the presence of members of the council in the meeting hall of the Assembly in Qom.

In an interview on the sidelines of this conference with ABNA News Agency, Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, spoke about the characteristics of the martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah. “This martyr had a comprehensive personality. Some aspects of his personality are clear. While many aspects of his personality have not yet been mentioned. One of the most prominent features of the Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah’s school was his approximation approach. Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, during the thirty-two years tenure as the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, made great contributions to the approximation between religions, and between Islamic denominations.”

The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization further said, “In addition to his special and distinguished characteristics, Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was a serious leader and an expert in political science. Many members of Lebanese Hezbollah or other prominent figures mention in their memoirs that they used to consult Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah for advice on governance and political matters. This was in addition to the mystical and scientific aspects of the martyr Nasrallah. The comprehensive personality of Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah should be recognized, that is, what is referred to as the “School of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah”.”
